RLC at GCVA 2022!
Our CEO, Rocío, attended the GCVA conference 2022 in London. It was an insightful conference filled with very interesting content.
While there were a lot of things to learn, here are some of our major takeaways:
👉 Good Packaging = Good Experience: Make sure that you do not forget about your physical products and give your customer a seamless and holistic gifting experience.
👉 More buses, less cars: Mark Essex from KPMG UK shared some ideas about where we will be in 2032. Our travel habits might change, there will be more bus ridership and less car ownership.
👉 Collaboration and engagement with customers is key: Marion King discussed about the power of payments and the role of gift cards. New and hybrid digital payment methods have emerged during the pandemic which has opened many doors for open banking and collaboration opportunities for companies. These collaborations can have a big impact on the customers.
👉 According to the State of the Nation ’22 report, over half of gift card recipients have been introduced to a new retail or leisure brand through a gift card.
👉 Speed, personalization, convenience are a key to improve your gift card sales.
